Create Private Exit Offer
A Private Exit Offer allows you to burn LP tokens at a special price and receive in exchange a pre-agreed share of the DAO's assets. An offer can be activated only once.
To create a private exit offer:
Click Create Private Exit Offer on the Manage page in your DAO.
Click Add module, and then Create voting, to create a vote to connect your DAO to the Private Exit module. Once the vote is activated, you will be able to proceed to the next step.
Connecting Private Exit to your DAO is only required the first time you interact with a Private Exit Offer.
Specify the public address of the recipient of the private exit offer.
Specify the number of LP tokens that will be burned from the recipient's address if they agree to the offer.
Select the tokens and specify their amount, which are held on the DAO's balance and will be sent to the recipient.
After creating the vote and activating it, you will form a private exit offer for the specific recipient.
Created Private Exit Offers are displayed on the Activity page in your DAO. Let's look at an example of using a Private Exit Offer.
A group of investors agreed to lock up funds for six months and invest them in various DeFi protocols. Early exit is possible, but only with a 50% penalty on the deposit and without receiving any profit. One of the investors needed an early exit, so the DAO manager created a Private Exit Offer. It specified all of the investor's LP tokens, and the type and amount of tokens being sent. The investor, on the DAO page, in the Connections tab and Private Exit module, will see their early exit offer and burn their LP tokens.
Parameters such as the number of LP tokens burned, the type of token sent, and its amount, can be set in any form.
