Transfer GP Tokens
The Transfer GP Tokens proposal (transfer_gp_tokens) moves GP tokens from one member's wallet to another member's wallet within the DAO — that is, it changes the voting balance between existing GPs without issuing new tokens or burning any.
By default, GP tokens cannot be moved with a regular jetton transfer — only through this proposal (Transfer GP Tokens) or if direct transfer is enabled for the DAO, see Change GP Transfer Status.
To transfer GP tokens:
Open the DAO → the Votes tab → click the + icon (Create Proposal).
Select the DAO and the Transfer GP Tokens proposal type, then click Create.
Fill in the proposal title and description, and set the voting period (2, 3, or 4 days, or a custom duration in days/hours/minutes — minimum 1 minute).
In the From wallet address field, select the sender — chosen from the DAO's current GP holders; once selected, the form fills in their available balance.
In the To wallet address field, select the recipient — also chosen from the DAO's current GP holders. The recipient must already be an existing GP; to add a new member, use Add GP.
Specify the number of GP tokens to transfer — no more than the sender's balance (the Max button fills in the entire available balance).
Click Create to submit the proposal for a vote.
Transfer GP Tokens is one of the proposal types that change the DAO's voting balance. If the DAO already has active votes, creating this kind of proposal triggers a warning: all currently active votes will be stopped and their results voided.
Once GPs vote and general consensus is reached, the specified number of GP tokens moves from the sender to the recipient.
