Swap
Swap (the proposal type's full name is Swap DAO Funds (STON.fi)) exchanges one asset in the DAO's balance for another via the decentralized exchange STON.fi — for example, part of the TON balance for a jetton, or a jetton for a jetton, without withdrawing funds outside the DAO.
To create a Swap proposal:
Open the DAO you need and go to the DAO Balance tab, then click Swap.
The button is only available to holders of this DAO's GP token. An alternative path is the Proposals section → Create Proposal: select the DAO and the proposal type Swap DAO Funds (STON.fi).
Choose From asset — the asset in the DAO's balance you want to exchange — and To asset — the asset you want to receive.
Specify the exchange amount. The Max button fills in the entire available balance of the From asset; for TON, a small amount is automatically reserved for network fees, so the maximum for TON will be slightly less than the full balance.
Set the Slippage (allowed price slippage) — one of the presets (1/3/5/7/10%) or a custom value from 1% to 100%.
Once both assets are selected and an amount is specified, an estimate of the amount to be received (Estimated receive) is shown below the fields, based on a live STON.fi quote. If there's no route or liquidity for the pair, the form will show a warning with a Retry button.
Fill in Description (optional) and the Voting Duration. The proposal name is generated automatically from the amount and the asset symbol (for example, "swap 10 TON").
Click Create.
The account the Swap is made from must retain a small reserve of TON on top of the amount being exchanged — it covers the network fees for executing the trade.
Once created, the proposal appears on the DAO's Votes tab, where GP token holders vote on it with their weight. As soon as the "for" votes reach the DAO's general consensus, the proposal is executed on the TON network automatically — the DAO performs the swap on STON.fi at the locked-in quote, accounting for the specified slippage, and the received asset is credited to the DAO's balance.
