# Remove Permitted

To remove an address in Permitted:

1\) Click Remove Permitted on the Manage page of your DAO;<br>

2\) Enter the user's public address or smart contract address that was previously added to Permitted;<br>

3\) Click Create voting. Once the voting is created and activated, the Permitted address will be removed.<br>
