# Forbid to Remove Members

GT Burning is the ability to quit managing members of the DAO. Since the only way to quit managing members of the DAO is to get rid of GT tokens, disabling and freezing this feature will block the ability to burn GT tokens permanently. It will only be possible to leave the organization by redistributing GT in favor of another user.

To permanently disable GT Burning:

1\) Click Forbid to Remove Members on the Manage page in your DAO;
2\) Click Create voting and create a vote. Once activated, GT Burning will be permanently disabled.
{% hint style="danger" %}
Disabling and freezing GT Burning permanently prohibits reducing the current number of GTs. If you intend to remove DAO members through GT Burning rather than redistributing, do not freeze this feature.
